The Education Equity Fund aims to provide catalytic support for sustainable impact in the following areas:
- Expanding access to education with a focus on STEM by funding technology or programming that removes barriers to underrepresented students in grades K-12 in the United States and at secondary and post-secondary schools outside the US
- Advancing emotional wellbeing by supporting the development of sustained social-emotional and mental health support for underserved and under-resourced schools
- Improving systems through influencing change in policies and curriculum and supporting a diverse talent pipeline in the field of education.
Applicants may include funding for administrative costs (“overhead”) associated with programs or projects to the extent that the costs are necessary to successfully implement the proposed project or services.
Education Equity Fund grants will be issued in the range of $50,000 – $250,000 per year, for 1, 2 or 3 years.
